Personal
I live in Central Connecticut with my wife, Tori, and rambunctious mutt, Monte Cristo.
My free time is mostly consumed by motorcycles and my main passion is long-distance, solo touring (on- and off-road) on my Norden 901 or DRZ-400, but I also enjoy shorter trips with my wonderful wife and sportier riding in the mountains. Outside of my own riding, I’m an MSF RiderCoach and teach motorcycle safety classes for the state of Connecticut. Most of my off-season is spent planning trips and maintaining, customizing, and upgrading my own bikes.
Outside of motorcycling, I also dabble in mountain & gravel biking, rock climbing, hiking, and longboarding with varying (but mostly quite modest) levels of success. When I’m too lazy to get outside I’m a fan of building custom mechanical keyboards, headphones, PC gaming, and just generally being a huge nerd.
Professional
I’m a data scientist, currently leading in Claims & Operations Emerging Sciences at The Hartford. My job is to find ways to improve efficiency across our claims handling and operational processes using technologies like Generative AI and computer vision.

I also have experience leading our Commercial Lines Pricing & Risk Score portfolio and have held individual contributor positions in Actuarial Technology & Innovation and Small Commercial Data Science.
Before The Hartford I spent some time in commercial analytics in the pharmaceutical industry after getting my Master’s in Statistics and Bachelor’s in Computer Science.
